Old Fashion Candy supports “Smart Snacks in School.” We are here to help you meet the USDA regulations.

Here are some relevant facts:

  • Our fundraising boxes are sealed so that they may not be accessed during the school day until they are intended to be sold.
  • Fundraising that takes place outside of school is exempt from nutrition standards.
  • Candy and snacks can be sold at school starting 30 minutes after the school day.
  • States set an appropriate number of exempt-school sponsored fundraisers with candy and snacks.

Old Fashion Candy has presale order forms such as our Excite Your Snacktime brochure.

Fundraisers which use order forms for products not intended for consumption at school are exempt from nutrition standards.

In the event that you wish to sell during the school day, we have a USDA compliant variety called the Smart Variety which meets all USDA standards. We also have donation dots cards.
