Get the Most Out of A Last Minute Fundraiser
Maybe it is the end of the school year for you, your group trip is fast approaching, or you need that last little push of profit. Whatever the reason, you may be in a rush to get in that last minute fundraiser. Have no fear! Not only do our orders ship out within 24 hours of ordering but we’ve got years of experience helping fundraising coordinators like yourself plan and get the most out of their last minute sales. Here are a few of our best tips for getting the most out of your last minute fundraiser:
Choose a Fundraiser With the Highest Profit
Going for the highest profit can be a good starting point to get the most out of each sale when you are in a time crunch. We have a large selection of items with up to 50% profit or higher, some of which are listed below, but also be sure to take the selling price into consideration. For example, our LED Flashlights are at 50% profit as are our $1 Chocolate Lover’s Bars, but you make more per individual sale on the flashlights. Knowing how much profit you need to make within your time frame can help you to determine what price point would work best.
⁃ Donation Dots® 87% profit
⁃ Large Chocolate Lover’s Bars 60% profit
⁃ LED Pocket Flashlights 50% profit
Choose A Top Seller
Selecting a known top selling fundraiser is another great way to make fast sales and quick profit. If you’ve had fundraisers in the past, you may have an idea of what you’ve had the most success with. If you are new to fundraising or not sure where to start, we’ve listed some of our top selling varieties below as a starting point. Do a little scouting around to see if there are any other fundraisers happening at the same time you will be holding yours. See what those groups are/will be selling, that way you do not inadvertently put yourself in a sales competition and oversaturate your customer base with the same items.
⁃ Supreme Selection®
⁃ $1 Chocolate Bars
⁃ Monster Variety
Advertise
Making your fundraiser known to as many people as possible can only lead to more sales. Put up flyers at your organization/school/church, etc. You can also put sales flyers on the outside of your sellers’ boxes, which you can download and print for free from our Tools section here. If you have a stationary setup at an event, make large poster signs to put up around you to attract customers and passersby.
Broaden Your Customer Base
Supplement your individual sales with a group sale at an event. School/group sporting events, recitals, competitions, anything where there are spectators is a great opportunity to tap into for sales. If you plan to be set up all day or multiple days, have sellers sign up for time slots and rotate out. You can also contact local businesses and see if you can set up a table outside during weekend or prime traffic hours.
