One of the things we enjoy doing most is answering your fundraising questions. Whether it is 1 or 100 questions, we are happy to answer all inquiries on anything fundraising. We can even assist you in setting up a fundraiser, but if you only have questions, no worries – our no-hassle fundraising experts are here for you. Below we’ve assembled some of our most frequently asked questions that come through our call center and online outlets:

What is a case?

A case is the overall box/container that holds your items. You can find how many pieces are in each case on the product page for every variety we carry. In most cases, it is just one carrying box. Each case is meant for a single seller, so you would order the same number of cases that you have sellers.

Is there a minimum order?

There is none. You can order one case or as many as you need for your group size. The profit charts on the variety product pages show increments, but these are for information only, not to suggest that these amounts are the only order sizes.

How do the prizes work?

You earn prize points based on the amount of fundraising products you order from Old Fashion Candy. Typically, each case is worth one prize point, and prize points are listed on each product page. Prize points are automatically accumulated as you order so you can use them after each, individual fundraiser or save them up from multiple orders. Once each invoice has been paid in full, you will be mailed a letter notifying you of how many prize points you have earned. How do the Smart Snacks in School Rules affect my school fundraiser?

Candy and snacks can still be sold in schools by following the regulations, which you can find more information of here. We also offer the Smart Variety where every item meets all USDA standards to be sold on campus, during school hours. For other school fundraiser alternatives, our brochure and product fundraisers are also all safe to sell at school and have no restrictions against them.

Do I have to pay upfront?

We have a 30 day billing available. Most schools in the public school system have already been pre-approved with us. Some schools do require their teachers to use purchase orders.  You may want to check with your bookkeeper prior to ordering,  to see if this is a requirement of your school or state. For all other schools, groups or individuals, you may be approved for the 30 day billing. Contact us at 1-800-500-1234 or when ordering online select the 30-day bill option.  If you select this option, we may need additional information from you to see if you qualify.  We accept other forms of payment including credit cards, debit cards, and PayPal. If you call in your order, you can also send in a check or money order or pay with a check by phone.

Do you accept returns?

We only accept unopened cases of non-food items that are in good condition. Food items are not accepted for return. You should call in advance to arrange your return. Additional inspection and restocking fees of $2.00 per case will be applied to all returned merchandise.
